Bill Sherry

Bill has worked in various roles within the construction industry for over a decade, spanning from apprentice electrician on commercial and industrial building projects to Contract Manager on major infrastructure projects within the coal and renewable energy sector. His interest in the law and his passion for the construction industry led him to pursue a construction law career.

Prior to joining Becker Watt Lawyers, Bill began his legal career in a construction law firm where he was involved in a variety of front-end and back-end legal advice and dispute work for large construction companies. He also has experience in commercial and employment law.

Bill was admitted to the legal profession in 2020 and is currently studying a Master of Construction Law at the University of Melbourne.

Bill’s construction industry experience, both on-site and within a law firm, has provided him a valuable perspective of the industry which assists him to relate to our clients and quickly understand their building and construction issues.
